AHA offers several opportunities from part time (1-2 massage shifts), to 3-5 days of massage only or a full-time position working as a massage therapist for half of the day and assisting one of our chiropractors for the other half of the day. Candice Fiscus, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Candice joined AHA in 2007 and her family has grown along with our office family! Having two children of her own since starting at AHA, she appreciates and loves to provide pre-natal massage. She graduating from the American Institute of Clinical Massage in Post Falls, Idaho and has completed a vast range of continuing education since then.
Charlie Wichser, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Charlie joined AHA in 2007. He graduated from Ashmead School of Massage in Seattle, WA in 2006.
He specializes in trigger point, cupping, deep tissue, and is certified in Myokin Level 1 and Level 2 treatments.
Charlie has a wife and daughter and a small urban farm to keep him busy outside of work! Some refer to him as Wichser the Fixer (it rhymes).
Marisa Pendergrass, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Marisa joined AHA in December of 2010 as a chiropractic assistant and massage therapist. Prior to her start at AHA she had 3.5 years working as a massage therapist at another chiropractic clinic and 1.5 years at an organic spa. She graduated from Inland Massage Institute in 2006 and has a BS in Community Health from Eastern Washington University. Marisa has over 130 hours of continuing education and an Intraoral certification. As a therapist she gets loves working on the upper body, neck, arm, and extremities. Her treatment specialties include trigger point, Swedish, pregnancy, deep tissue, myofascial release, Intraoral, and aromatherapy/essential oils. Marisa is native to Spokane and has a husband, a daughter (and another on the way), and 3 cats. She enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, reading, and road trips on the motorcycle. Helping others live healthier, happier, pain-free lives excites her the most!
Tianna McEvoy, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Tianna joined AHA in October of 2017 as a massage therapist and chiropractic assistant. She graduated from Tri-City School of Massage in 2015. She specializes in trigger point, Swedish, pregnancy, and relaxation massage techniques. Tianna moved to Spokane withg her husband in 2016, along with their German Shepherd, and is now expecting in Nov of 2020! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and attending sporting events. Tianna loves the challenge of turning people who are new to massage into believers!
Miranda Stieber, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Miranda Stieber graduated in August of 2017 from Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics in Tacoma, Washington. She joined AHA as a massage therapist and chiropractic assistant in January, 2018 when she moved to the east side of the state.
Her approach to massage therapy is to look at each person and body as their own unique puzzle and she integrates various therapies such as Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Swedish and relaxation in order to reduce the discomfort of each individual person. While firm pressure is her strength, relaxation and comfort for each person is the ideal goal. Miranda enjoys working with patients to resolve pain due to life, car accidents and work injuries, headaches, and chronic pain, among other issues. She also has extra education and training in pregnancy massage as well as deep lower back and pelvis massage to help those who have more specific issues.
Miranda, in her free time, likes to participate in Spartan races, go hiking, swimming, running and overall spending time with her boyfriend. She also enjoys watching movies and reading new novels while cuddling her two cats.
Crystal Cuskelly, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Crystal (finally) joined AHA in September of 2018 as a massage therapist and chiropractic assistant. Crystal graduated from the Myotherapy College of Utah in 2010. She relocated to Spokane after spending 5 years working at a luxury spa in Northern California. Crystal specializes in a personalized therapeutic massage that is both effective and relaxing. She also holds a certification in the Medical Massage series for pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, which is a type of active release treatment. Assisting people in healing is her passion and she strives to grow in the massage field for as long as she can.
Sarah Dixen, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Sarah joined AHA in March of 2019, bringing many years of experience working alongside chiropractors on the west side of the state! Sarah works part time and spends the rest of her days chasing 4 beautiful children and spending quality time with her husband.
Kiya Tenney, LMPLicensed Massage Therapist
Kiya came to AHA in May 2019, bringing 8 years of massage experience. Kiya graduated from The Aveda Institute for Massage Therapy in 2011 in Minneapolis, MN. Kiya enjoys working on clients with neck and shoulder pain, headaches, migraines, along with athletes, and musicians. Anybody looking for a 'hurt so good' massage. She specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish style, and craniosacral- a non-invasive therapy that's helpful for headaches, Vertigo/motion-sickness, central nervous system disorders, PTSD, and stress.
